One of the hardest things for us as humans to grasp is just how large space is and just how small we are in comparison. Earlier this year, the Hubble SpaceTelescope released the largest image ever taken of our neighbor the Andromeda galaxy. How large? 1.5 billion (yes billion) pixels and 4.3GB of disk space.
We may be but a tiny speck in the grandeur of space and time, but how amazing is it that we have found the means to see so much? Watch, be awed and enjoy the beauty that lies out there beyond our grasp, but not beyond our vision.
